SPI – Silicones Plus, Inc. Appoints Justin Brown as New CEO/Owner
Leading supplier of fine chemicals, performance actives and excipients appoints former VP to the helm.
Arlington, Texas, May 10, 2023. SPI – Silicones Plus, Inc. announced today that Justin Brown has been appointed the new Chief Executive Officer/Owner of the company. An experienced business leader, Brown succeeds former CEO and original founder Jeff Peterson and assumes responsibilities effective immediately. After 25 years as the CEO/Owner, Jeff Peterson unfortunately passed away on April 12, 2022, after a brave battle with cancer.
Justin Brown served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at SPI – Silicones Plus for 12 years. Before that, he was the Director of Sales for the company. “It was immediately clear that Justin was the right fit,” said Rick Pacholick Chief Operating Officer for SPI – Silicones Plus. “We have always been impressed by his strong track record in business development and we know he will lead us into a new era.”
During his tenure at SPI– Silicones Plus, Justin Brown made several improvements to the supply chain that led to increased savings and was instrumental in launching a range of SPI products, significantly increasing sales revenue.

The announcement signals a new era for SPI – Silicones Plus as the company looks to expand on its position as a leader in supplying fine chemicals, performance actives and excipients within the personal care, cosmetic, household, industrial, food, and pharmaceutical industries.
Brown’s appointment follows several other internal organizational changes and new hires within the company this year as it continues its expansion in the US.
